USF Announces The Advanced Visualization Center

The Advanced Visualization Center functions as a resource for student research and faculty instruction. The center will support the USF community by supplying a state of the art high resolution tiled LCD video wall, with 3D capability, called BullsEye, that can display multiple images, video and web content simultaneously. The large video wall can be used for lectures, presentations and research projects that have a need to showcase advanced visual content. The center is also equipped with a Visualization Lab, software and hardware compliant for creating advanced visualizations, for the high resolution video wall and other presentation purposes. With data such as data-sets, photographs, digital scans, illustrations and film footage an AVC technician will assist you in processing and converting the data for your presentations. To facilitate the use of our visualization resources, the Advanced Visualization Center also provides training for students and faculty on the various technologies used to create the necessary content for their lectures, presentations and research.
